Call For Paper 2015 : Integrated Science, Technology and Humanities for suistainable Development of Asean Community

In accordance to the Bali Concord II, the ASEAN member countries will be integrated regionally by 2015 within a framework so-called ASEAN Community, brought forward from the previous target of 2020. Although ASEAN's vision has the community underpinned by three pillar institutions, namely the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the ASEAN Security Community (ASC) and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), much emphasis has been placed on the prospective growth in economic development and trade in the region. Besides that, the ASEAN member countries also need to further consolidate with other Asian countries in order to promote and develop interdependence among Asian countries in all areas of cooperation by identifying Asia's common strengths and opportunities which will help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for Asian people whilst developing a knowledge-based society within Asia, including through academic society.
However, it should be noted that scientific advances and technological change are important drivers for the success of
economic integration. It has been proven that the ability to create, distribute and exploit knowledge has become a major source of competitive advantage, wealth creation and improvements in the quality of life. Some of the main features of this transformation are the growing impact of information and communications technologies (ICT) on the economy and on society; the rapid application of recent scientific advances in new products and processes; a high rate of innovation across many countries; a shift to more knowledge-intensive industries and services; and rising skill requirements.
These changes imply that science, technology and innovation are now key to improving economic performance and social well-being in the world, including Asian countries. It is therefore the intention of the organizing committee of the 3rd AASIC (Asian Academic Society International Conference) to broaden the scope of region from ASEAN member countries (at 2nd AASIC) to Asian countries in order to bring together various concerned groups, multi-disciplinary scholars and graduate students, engineer and researchers to share and exchange ideas and knowledge on various aspects of scientific and technological developments and their impacts towards preparing Asian countries to face the regional integration and beyond.
The 3rd AASIC under the theme “Integrated Science, Technology, and Humanities for Sustainable Development of ASEAN Community” will provide a platform to discuss the opportunities & challenges related to science, technology and humanities in order to achieve the sustainable development in science and technology. The 3rd AASIC-SDST will include invited and referred papers from academics, consultants, entrepreneurs, technology providers, designers and innovation directors. The 3rd AASIC-SDST will be held during 13-14 May 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand organized by Association of Indonesia Student in Thailand in collaboration with Mahidol University, Thailand, and Indonesia Embassy in Bangkok.
This conference will provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange knowledge, new ideas, best practices and application experiences face to face, to establish academic and research relation and networking, and to find global partners for future collaboration on various areas of interest. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in advances of natural, health and social science. In addition, the specific goal of the conference are to provide the new platform for new thinking, ideas and concepts in the field natural, health and social science, to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners, and also to initiate and built up networking to meet academia, business and government from Asian countries and beyond.
AASIC 2015 comprises three international conferences, namely:


  • International Conference on Natural Science, Engineering, and Technology (ICNSET 2015)
  • International Conference on Business, Economics, and Social Sciences (ICBESS 2015)
  • International Conference on Pharmaceutical, Medical, and Health Sciences (ICPMHS 2015)
